Dr. Sara Yarnall Sanders, DVM, LP, is an IAAP-certified and New York State licensed Jungian psychoanalyst in private practice in Manhattan. She is a graduate and now a faculty member of the C.G. Jung Institute of New York, where she also serves on the Curriculum Committee, and is an active member of the New York Association of Analytical Psychology (NYAAP), of which she is currently treasurer. Sara earned a BA in Philosophy from St. John's College before earning a DVM degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Before becoming an analyst, she practiced for many years as a veterinarian where her many hands-on hours spent working with dogs, cats, and their owners were both grounding and enlightening. Today, Sara is able to share that foundation in instinct and insight in her work as an analyst, offering a safe place in which to help people heal the split between body and spirit, heart and head.
