Hilda Guttormsen (formerly Seidman) completed her Jungian psychoanalytic training from The C.G. Jung Institute of New York in 2017, and later earned her diagnostic privilege from the state of New York. Her thesis was entitled Redeeming the Feminine Divine: Encountering the Gnostic Sophia. Hilda's Gnostic studies continued after receiving the Kristine Mann Research Award 2018, for which she delved into The Nag Hammadi Scriptures and explored the connections of Gnosticism and Jungian theory and practice. Since becoming certified as a Jungian analyst, Hilda has had the honor and privilege of giving talks and teaching seminars for The CG Jung Foundation of New York, for NYAAP, and for The CG Jung Institute of New York. An active member of IAAP through her membership with both NYAAP and IRSJA, Hilda currently supervises, teaches and mentors analysts in training. She currently serves as the Chair of Curriculum for The C.G. Jung Institute of New York. Hilda is also a licensed psilocybin facilitator in Oregon, practicing a Jungian approach to psychedelic therapy.
